M25 Junction 10 upgrade proposals

Highways England recently held a public consultation on their plans to upgrade Junction 10 of the M25 (ie the junction with the A3). This would include a bigger roundabout as well as widening the A3 in the Guildford-bound direction. The plans included a proposal for a dedicated cycleway alongside the A3 between the Ockham and Painshill junctions. Although the project is outside the Borough of Guildford, G-BUG contributed to the consultation, since many Guildford cyclists have an interest in improving cycling provision in this busy area. We sent representatives to a workshop, and G-BUG’s response can be downloaded below.
