Guildford Godalming Greenway endorsed by SCC/GBC Local Committee

At their meeting on 13th June 2018, the Guildford Local Committee gave their official backing to the proposals, developed by Godalming Cycle Campaign assisted by G-BUG, for a Guildford Godalming Greenway. The Local Committee is a joint body of Surrey County and Guildford Borough Councillors which addresses issues which overlap between County and Borough responsibilities, such as highways. Although the decision does not automatically release funds for the project, it is an important and necessary step toward realising this goal. Further details can be found on the Greenway website.
