The ride will pass through Shalford, Binscombe, Puttenham, Runfold to Tongham then back to Guildford via the ‘Christmas Pie Trail’. Departs: 9.30 am from Guildford Borough Council Car Park, Millmead. Coffee at Puttenham and (late) pub lunch (optional) back at Guildford.

Wednesday 12th June in the Council Chamber at Guildford Borough Council offices Millmead Guildford GU2 4BB, starting at 6pm. GBC has conducted two related studies into, respectively, improving Guildford’s cycle network, and a bike share scheme (similar to London’s ‘Boris Bikes’). In this meeting GBC Officers and their consultants will tell us about their proposals. Please come along to hear about this important development for cycling in our town and offer your feedback on the proposals. All very welcome.

    Hello Doug
Rushmoor Cycle Forum would be interested to hear your feedback on the GBC meeting on the 12th June. Reason: Rushmoor Cycle Forum are about to being strategic and design work with RBC, for which some councillors are seemingly keen to investigate inter-borough routes to Farnham, Guildford, Fleet.
Rushmoor has become surprisingly cycle focussed of late. We have our theories on why this is, but it seems mostly positive. There has been a significant planning application approved which builds a Copenhagen style crossing(!).
Look forward to hearing from you.
George Britton, Chair – Rushmoor Cycle Forum
